Recruiting Director

As Recruiting Director for Atlanticon Michele conducts all telephone and video conference interviews with potential new consultants, and then coordinates with the sales team and operations regarding talent available for clients. She takes a pro-active approach to identify new consultants for client specific projects, and managed relationships with outside recruitment firms we utilize for identifying hard to find talent in the market place. She is knowledgeable of current tools and methodologies in recruiting in order to build a strong network, and is able to identify talent pro-actively for clients.

Michele offers over 20 years of recruiting experience, with 17 years in the healthcare information systems industry, and has an extensive network to turn to if our consultants are engaged on projects. Michele had a working relationship with Atlanticon for several years prior to joining the team full time in June of 2010 as their Recruiting Director.

Michele’s passion for healthcare began when she earned her certificate as a Nursing Assistant, and got hands on experience in a hospital and long term care facility. She joined a healthcare IT recruiting firm in 1994, and she has been passionate about healthcare IT recruiting ever since. She is involved with the HIMSS Small and Independent Consultants Special Interest Group assisting as a Chair/Co-Chair and volunteer since 2005. Michele resides in Northglenn, CO and enjoys the beautiful mountains in Colorado with her family.
